Minor histocompatibility antigens represented in HLA-A*02:01 and their search strategies

چکیده
Minor histocompatibility antigens (MiHAs) are polymorphic peptides on the cell surface derived from self-proteins that capable to induce an immune response during allogeneic hematopoietic stem cells transplantation. Their presentation occurs in context of certain major complex (HLA – human leucocyte antigen) alleles. One most common HLA alleles is HLA-A*02:01. Accordingly, for a significant number donors and recipients pairs, it possible use MiHAs presented HLA-A*02:01 as target relapsed leukemia therapy. This review discusses main known HLA-A*02:01, their characteristics approaches used identification. The described may be search new immunotherapy.

ISTOCOMPATIBILITY antigens are a group of cell H membrane alloantigens that can trigger T-lymphocyte proliferative and/or cytolytic activity in vitro and may initiate graft rejection or graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) in vivo. AB0 and related antigens, whose presence on vascular endothelial cells may provoke antibody-mediated graft rejection, are excluded from this group because they do not in...

Disparities in minor histocompatibility antigens between HLA-matched organ and bone marrow donors and recipients create a potential risk for graft failure and graft-versus-host disease. These conditions necessitate lifelong pharmacological immunosuppression of organ and bone marrow transplant recipients. Recent technical advances have resulted in the identification of the chemical nature of the...
متن کاملPolymorphism of human minor histocompatibility antigens: T cell recognition of human minor histocompatibility peptides presented by HLA- B35 subtype molecules
To investigate the polymorphism of human minor histocompatibility (mH) antigens, PBLs from 23 Japanese individuals and 25 German individuals with HLA-B35 were studied by using four human mH antigen-specific, HLA-B35-restricted CTL clones. The CTL clones killed PHA-stimulated PBLs from all 23 Japanese individuals. On the other hand, they killed the PHA-stimulated PBLs from 19 of 25 German indivi...

Potent graft-versus-leukemia (GVL) effects can be mediated by donor-derived T cells recognizing minor histocompatibility antigens (mHags) in patients treated with donor lymphocyte infusion (DLI) for relapsed hematologic malignancies after HLA-matched allogeneic stem cell transplantation (alloSCT). Donor-derived T cells, however, may not only induce GVL, but also mediate detrimental graft-versus...
متن کاملAbnormal response to minor histocompatibility antigens in Obese strain chickens.
Obese strain chickens, which spontaneously develop autoimmune thyroiditis, were tested for their ability to tolerate skin allografts. Several procedures known to prolong graft survival in normal strains were employed. These included the use of skin matched at the major histocompatibility locus, grafting on the day of hatching, thymectomy, and x-irradiation. A dramatic difference between the Obe...
